What Is This?

It's a constantly growing, global map of 3,371,630 PokéStops and Gyms for Pokémon GO.

The data is from Outgress (an Ingress analytics system).

Email Forwarding

You can verify your Ingress agent account by setting up your account to forward damage report emails. Setting up a Gmail filter to forward damage reports is the only method that will work (forwarding from an email client for example will not work [it would be a security issue if we allowed incoming emails sent from somewhere other than Niantic Labs, which is what happens in the case of a client-side forward]).
Log into Gmail from a computer (Gmail doesn't allow you to edit settings from their mobile interface).
If you use Chrome on your mobile device, you could also use the "Request Desktop Site" option in your browser.
In the Gmail account for your Ingress profile, go to the Forwarding Settings, add a new forwarding address of [email protected]. By default forwarding is disabled, so all you are doing is adding an address that you *can* forward emails to. Leave the "Disable forwarding" option set here (you don't want to forward all your email).
We are doing this first because it can take a minute or two for the forwarding to be automatically approved (you can ignore the prompt for the confirmation code). Feel free to reload the Forwarding Settings page (you know it's approved for forwarding once the confirmation code prompt disappears).
When you are done with this step, you should end up with something like this:
Load Ingress on your phone and verify that your email address is set correctly under the Device options.

If your email damage reports end up going to some other email address, your email address for your account on outgress.com should match the email address they get sent to.
Enable email notifications if they are not enabled already.

Go into your Gmail account, go to Settings -> Filters and create a new filter with the following settings:
Do not put anything in the "To" address (common mistake).

Click the "Create filter with this search" link.
  • Forward it to: [email protected]
  • Optionally, you can set them to automatically delete if you don't want to keep them

If you would like to import the filter, you can download this XML file and import it.
When you are all done, you should end up with a Gmail filter that looks something like this:

Now you just wait for someone to attack a portal you have a resonator or mod in. If you are in a hurry to make sure it's working, you can go Jarvis/ADA your own portal.
