    Lots of people I've spoken to have said there's no point using Outgress to help them find unique captures because they've been playing for so long.

    The data dump could be a way of "back filling" Outgress with all the info it's missed. Have you considered adding a tool to process people's data?

    That would certainly be an interesting idea. How does one get their data dump (hopefully without too much trouble)?

    No, but I can. I have a friend who was bemoaning not using outgress today and is keen too.

    Ya if someone can get ahold of their data, I suspect it wouldn’t be too hard to make an import function to allow users to populate their owned portals.

    We've got two requests in, they reckon it could take 30 days. Don't hold your breath.
    Would be interesting to compare data dump to outgress, or even to let people do an annual update so they catch all the portals that decayed.

    If you want to zip yours up and send it to me privately, I can see what sort of useful data we can extract out of it and make a self-serve utility to handle it.

    Hi,
    Ive just joined as i am looking for a replacement to the IITC unique capture / visit plugin that is currently not usable because the google API has been closed.
    Is there a way to import the log of the IITC uniques to here?
    Many thanks in advance, im looking forward to exploring outgress over the next few days

    Has there been any progress on gdpr data dumps? One of my favorite features of outgress is the unique capture filter for the map, and I'd love to be able to importimy gdpr dump to make it more accurate so I can figure out which local portals I've never actually captured.

    Just uploaded my dump and put in my password, I'll let you know how it goes!

    EDIT:
    Very impressive, looks like you couldn't get the names (makes sense) so they all show up as unknown in many cases, but my results were:
    New Portals:

    Portals With Ownership Updated:

    I'm requesting an updated dump now since my current one was several months old.

    Ya... we know there are portals there because of longitude and latitude, but we don't know the portal names unfortunately. Outgress has a mechanism so if it ever gets an email damage report with one of those portals, it will correct the name and image, but without the data, not a lot we can do to automatically populate the info for portals we have never seen in an email damage report. Outgress isn't a scraper, so we can't just go query for the data (would be easy, but we are keeping it within the ToS, so you get "Unknown" for now with it slowly filling in missing data over time). :)
